ICICI Guarenteed Saving Plan – Paid 1.8 lacs , but will get only 59k on surrender

Hi,

I have taken ICICI Guaranteed Savings Plan insurance policy in March 2011.

I am getting tax benefit under 80C. But my concern is what will be the return I will get after maturity (15 years – 2026). I am paying monthly 5k premium.

Should I surrender this policy or continue ? Please suggest.

If I surrender this policy now I will get 59k only and I paid 1.80 lac till date.

Please help me.
